High Voltage Laboratory
EGU - HV laboratory was established in 1953. The laboratory provides an extensive set of activities in the field of testing, metrology, research and development of HV and UHV power grids and devices.

Since 1993 the laboratory has been accredited in compliance with EN 45 001 and since 2002 in compliance with EN ISO/IEC 17 025.

Scope of accreditation

HV and UHV testing, measurement of radio interferences, electric and magnetic fields, voltage and dielectric tests of electric devices and equipment and mechanical tests of insulators.
