Tests at HV laboratory
The test equipment of the HV Laboratory makes possible to carry out following tests of HV equipment with system voltage up to 420 kV:
- dielectric tests of HV and UHV insulators, insulator strings, post insulators, switchgears, disconnectors, etc.
- artificial pollution tests of suspension and post insulators
- design and type tests of composite insulators
- type tests of ceramic and glass insulators
- tests of surge arresters
- tests of instrument transformers
- measurements and tests of bushing and capacitors
- tests of power transformers and reactors
- tests of cables and cable terminals and joints
- tests of gas insulated switchgears (GIS)
- radio interference voltage and corona tests on insulator string and electric equipment
- partial discharges measurements on HV devices with internal insulation
Field test and measurements
- measurement of switching overvoltages
- partial discharge measurements of surge arresters and instrument transformers
- measurements of pollution degree and measurements of pollution state of external insulation
- interfering electromagnetic field measurements in the range of 0,15 - 300 MHz along UHV overhead lines and substations (interference source searching)
